The standard identifies and manages key processes related to the efficient delivery of information technology services to meet the business needs of customers. ISO 20000 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for an Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system. Some of the key features of the ISO 20000 certification were customer focus, process efficiency, continuous improvement, risk management, compliance, and measuring performance. There was also a special focus on documentation & control, and training & awareness.
