The FlexPoint® Fast Ethernet Media Converter provides a simple and reliable way to extend 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet networks over fiber-optic cabling. Designed for enterprise, industrial, campus, and metropolitan network applications, it converts copper Ethernet connections to 100BASE-FX fiber, enabling longer-distance links while maintaining network performance and reliability.
As part of the FlexPoint modular media converter platform, the unit can be deployed as a standalone device or installed in a FlexPoint Power Chassis for centralized power and scalable network expansion. The converter features an auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 interface, front-panel diagnostic LEDs, and flexible fiber connectivity options to support a wide range of network environments.
With selectable fiber connector types, support for multimode and single-mode fiber, and multiple power supply options, the FlexPoint Fast Ethernet Media Converter delivers a versatile solution for extending Ethernet services across fiber infrastructure while protecting existing network investments.
