The FlexPoint® Ethernet Media Converter connects modern 10BASE-T Ethernet devices to legacy 10BASE2 ThinNet networks, helping organizations maintain connectivity while extending the life of existing infrastructure. The converter operates transparently, requiring no software configuration and enabling seamless integration between Ethernet and coaxial network segments.
Designed as part of the FlexPoint modular platform, it can be deployed as a standalone unit or installed in a FlexPoint Power Chassis for centralized power and scalable network expansion. Features such as automatic polarity detection, selectable UTP crossover functionality, and configurable ThinNet termination help simplify installation and reduce deployment time.
