Expand and Simplify Remote Power Control
The Secure Power Switch Satellite extends the power management capabilities of compatible Secure Power Switch G2 Master and ServMon systems, enabling centralized control of up to eight connected devices through RS-232 or RS-485 serial connections. Ideal for data centers, server rooms, and remote installations, it provides reliable power control while reducing the need for on-site intervention.

Each outlet can be individually powered on, powered off, or rebooted to support troubleshooting, maintenance, and recovery of connected equipment. For larger deployments, multiple units can be cascaded using standard CAT5 cabling, enabling control of up to 136 power outlets through a single serial connection.

Flexible Integration and Power Distribution
Dual RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces provide compatibility with KVM switches, console servers, PCs, and other serially managed equipment. Two separate 10A power inputs support redundant power circuits, making the unit well suited for servers and other devices with dual power supplies while providing up to 4600 VA of total power capacity.

Reliable Operation and Easy Configuration
Programmable power-up sequencing helps prevent circuit overloads during startup and enables controlled device initialization following a power outage. Configuration settings are stored in non-volatile memory to ensure they are retained during power interruptions, while firmware updates can be performed through the serial interface. An easy-to-use command structure provides access to outlet control, status monitoring, restart delays, power-up sequencing, and other management functions.
