This contract is open to State of Texas agencies and institutions of higher learning and local government entities such as cities, counties, local school districts, and community colleges.

How to obtain a quote or place an order: Customers will need to work with the vendor. Using Appendix C DIR Sample SOW, Customer drafts scope and requirements based on end-user needs. Submit to one or more Managed Services Telecom Vendors (these contracts are not subject to SB20 Rules). Negotiate with vendor to finalize SOW. Vendor submits to DIR final SOW prior to signing. Limited Service Warranty: Black Box Corporation represents and warrants that Services performed by Black Box Corporation will: (i) be performed in a timely, competent, professional and workmanlike manner; (ii) substantially conform to the written specifications under the Service Description for 30 days from completion, or for such other warranty period as may be indicated under the Special Terms and Conditions of the Service Description; (iii) be in compliance with all laws, rules and regulations applicable to Black Box Corporation's performance of the Services under the Service Description.
Limited Warranty: PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED, PUBLISHED OR PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY BY BLACK BOX CORPORATION OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Black Box Corporation shall pass through to you, to the extent available, any manufacturer's/publisher's/supplier's written warranties associated with third party Products purchased from Black Box. Although third-party services and support are considered "Product" and you may purchase such services through Black Box Corporation, Black Box Corporation is not obligated to provide the services or support. Black Box Corporation accepts no liability for any claims arising out of any act or omission, including negligence, by your third-party service provider; and any amounts associated with third party services, including but not limited to taxes, will be collected solely in our capacity as an independent reseller of such Product.
