The 33.6-kbps dialup modem chock-full of features!
Analog RS232 sync /async Dialup or leased line V.34 modem, with abundant security features. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology accelerates the Modem 34336 to 33.6 kbps. But you can still use it with your other installed modems the Modem 34336 falls back automatically to whatever standard it's connected to. It even sends your faxes at 14.4 kbps. The Modem 34336 recognizes V.25 bis or AT commands. It will also dial a stored number upon DTR, so it can connect to devices (like routers) that use bandwidth-on-demand and line backup via DTR. And if your primary line goes down, the modem dials the backup line automatically. The Modem 34336 supports V.42 bis and MNP for error correction and data compression. It also supports V.54 tests. You can test the modem from the front panel or from your PC via AT commands. Monitor modem status on the clear, easy-to-read front-panel display or from a remote workstation. Configure your modem via the 2-line x 20-character LCD panel and six front-panel push buttons or with standard AT commands. Plus the Modem 34336 has "hacker-proof" security for your sensitive transmissions.
