When the NOAA wanted a reliable, aesthetic and easy to use video wall and collaboration system for their Operations Center, Conference Room and Administration Area at their new HQ building in Cleveland OH, they turned to Black Box. ControlBridge and the Coalesce system we were able to meet and exceed NOAA expectations.
Goal
Provide NOAA with a reliable, aesthetic and easy to use video wall and collaboration system for their Operations Center, Conference Room and Administration Area at their new HQ building in Cleveland OH
Challenge
The system needed to be designed and configured to NOAA specific needs. This system also needs to be state of the art as it will not only operate as the main command center to 20 remote locations but also a showcase center for visits from the general public and other NOAA offices.
Solution
Black Box provided our new advanced video wall system. Designing preset configurations into our ControlBridge and using the Coalesce system we were able to exceed NOAA expectations by allowing meteorologists to share and collaborate in real-time. Thin bezel touch screens with an open canvas gave the system the functional use and desired look.
Outcome
Awarded contract for new headquarters building and update all 20 remote locations.
