Magna Systems & Engineering to Sell Black Box KVM Product Line in Asia-Pacific Broadcast Markets

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — March. 11, 2020 – Black Box, an industry-leading provider of IT connectivity solutions, today announced that Magna Systems & Engineering has signed a channel partner agreement. As a result Magna will now provide the Black Box keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) product range to the broadcast markets across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. Magna has served the broadcast industry in the Asia Pacific region for more than five decades.

The KVM product range from Black Box includes the award-winning Emerald® Unified KVM platform, which provides the exceptional flexibility and network security essential to state-of-the-art KVM extension and switching. The low-latency, high-performance Emerald 4K and Emerald SE transmitter-receiver pairs connect workstations with remote computers and servers over distances up to 10 kilometres over single-mode fibre, or even farther over IP, while the new Emerald Remote App facilitates convenient anywhere, anytime access. Other KVM products from Black Box include the Boxilla® centralised KVM manager, the DKM modular KVM 4K video matrix switching and extension solution, and NIAP 3.0-certified secure KVM switches.
