has been recognized with the following awards:
2009
ShoreTel Circle of Excellence Award
Black Box Network Services was recognized as a Circle of Excellence winner
and awarded first place in its category by ShoreTel, provider of IP phone
systems with Unified Communications (UC). The award is based on world-class
customer satisfaction and strong revenue achievement, and is the highest
partner award given by ShoreTel.
Polycom Voice Communications Reseller of the Year Award
Polycom recognized Black Box as the top Polycom U.S. Reseller Channel
Partner in Voice Communications for 2008. These annual awards are based on
outstanding sales performance and excellence in meeting customer solution,
service, and support needs. Black Box was one of only 19 award recipients
in four categories: Voice Communications Resellers, Visual Communications
Resellers, Regional Resellers, and Marketing.
iCOMPEL receives TMC Solutions Product of the Year Award
Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) named the Black Box® iCOMPEL™
digital signage appliance its 2008 Communications Solution Product of the Year.
TMC picks award recipients that have brought “the most innovative products and
services to market,” and cited iCOMPEL as an “outstanding” contribution to the
communications industry for its simplicity, flexibility, and advanced
capabilities.
Black Box Catalog wins Multichannel Merchant Gold Award
This marks the 14th consecutive year that the company has won top honors in
the Computer and High-Tech Equipment category. The 620-page catalog, nicknamed
the Big Book, showcases the company’s vast line of 118,000+ communications,
networking, and infrastructure products. The Gold award, conferred as a
“tribute to excellence,” is based on a points system given by a panel of
experts through a series of three judging sessions. Evaluations are based on
creative, merchandising, copy, customer service/navigation, and marketing
execution.
Named to the 2009 VAR 500 by CRN magazine
Black Box Network Services was named to the VAR 500, which is the definitive
list of the largest IT solution providers, system integrators, IT consultants,
and services companies with headquarters in North America. Black Box came in
at number 88 with more than $1 billion in revenue for FY 2008. For the eighth
year in a row, Black Box was a Top 100 IT solution provider.
2008 Boeing Performance Excellence Award
Black Box was recognized as a supplier who has achieved superior performance
in the areas of quality, delivery, and business management.
Siemens Enterprise Communications 2007/2008 Partner of the Year Award
In addition to being honored as Siemens Enterprise Communications 2007/2008
Partner of the Year, Black Box Network Services has been named the 2008 winner
of the Siemens “Go For It!” incentive program in North America. “Go For It!”
is a global program that rewards top growth partners. Black Box has also won
the Siemens Sales Pinnacle–Enterprise Market Award.
Aspect Service Excellence Award for the Second Year in a Row
Black Box Network Services received the award by once again earning the
highest satisfaction ratings of any Aspect North American Partner for
resolving customer issues. The award also encompasses the quantity and
quality of technical resources Black Box has devoted to Aspect products
and services.
2008
Named One of Information Week's Most Innovative Users of Business Technology
Black Box Network Services has been named one of InformationWeek’s 500 most innovative users of
business technology. The annual list, in its 20th year, tracks the business and
technology best practices of the nation’s most innovative companies by analyzing
their IT budgets, technology deployment, strategies, and staffing.
Siemens Sales Pinnacle – Enterprise Market Award
This marks the fourth consecutive year that Black Box Network Services has won this award for
outstanding sales of the HiPath 4000®. In 2007, Black Box sold more HiPath units than any
other Siemens enterprise partner and achieved the highest revenue of any partner.
Aspect Service Excellence Award
Awarded for the quantity and quality of technical resources Black Box Network Services has dedicated to the
Aspect Software solutions and for having the highest partner response rate in North America
for customer resolutions.
2008 Business-to-Business (B-to-B) Multichannel Merchant of the Year Award
This top honor for multichannel marketers recognizes superior cross-channel marketing of a
print catalog and Web site, and the synergy between the two.
2008 Multichannel Merchant Print Channel Gold Award
Awarded by Multichannel Merchant, the gold award marks the thirteenth year in a row that
one of our catalogs has been recognized as best in the Computer and High Tech Equipment category.
2008 Multichannel Merchant Web Channel Silver Award
Multichannel Merchant awarded Black Box Network Services a silver award in the Computer and High Tech Equipment
category for its Web site.
2007
Bill Boardley Named Insight’s Partner Representative of the Year
Bill Boardley, a Technical Account Manager with Black Box Network Services Products division,
was named Insight’s Partner Representative of the Year for the second consecutive year. This
is the first time a representative has won the award two years in a row.
Pittsburgh Business Times’ Manufacturer of the Year Finalist
The award recognizes the “leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and global vision” of
select companies in the 10-county Pittsburgh region. Nominees are judged, in part, on how
their products or services are superior to those of their competitors, their plans for
long-term growth, and their plans for growing a qualified workforce.
Community Choice Award for KVM ServSwitch
The Black Box Network Services ServSwitch™ line of KVM over IP switches won top honors from
Windows IT Pro. The awards include 12 highly competitive product categories.
Named Multichannel Merchant Print Channel Catalog of the Year
The Catalog of the Year award marks the third time in four years that Black Box Network
Services has earned the highest honor in the Print Channel, an unprecedented accomplishment.
The catalog also won best in the Computer and High Tech Equipment category for the twelfth
year in a row.
