PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, January 18, 2010 -- Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX), an industry-leading provider of voice communications, data infrastructure , and product solutions, announced today that it has been certified as a Platinum-level channel partner for Avaya. Black Box previously held a Silver-level designation.

Avaya is a leading manufacturer of unified communications, IP telephony, and contact center systems, software, and solutions. As a Platinum-level Avaya channel partner, Black Box has successfully completed a rigorous certification process.
