Black Box Now ISO Certified for 14 Straight Years
Re-certification emphasizes the Company’s commitment to quality.
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, November 12, 2008 – Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX) today announced it has received ISO 9001:2000 re-certification for its U.S.-based voice and data services and product manufacturing locations.
Since 1994, Intertek, a leading third-party registrar, has assessed the Company’s quality management systems against the ISO 9001 standard during a rigorous auditing process.
“We’re deeply committed to quality and have even taken the comprehensive step of requiring not just our product manufacturing location but also our data and voice services locations to be certified,” said Louis A.
