Small Business Subcontracting Program Overview
Black Box intends that small business concerns, particularly those owned and controlled
by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals or women, shall have the opportunity
to provide goods and services to its organization.
Black Box’s Small Business Subcontracting Policy Statement recognized the obligation to promote and assist small business
firms in their endeavors to provide goods and services, and encourages diversity among its supplier base.
Initiatives are implemented as appropriate in order to:
- Identify and assist small, disadvantage, women-owed, veteran & service disabled veteran owned, and HUBZone vendors, to competitively conduct business with Black Box.
- Increase awareness within Black Box of the company’s policy and commitment.
- Serve as a resource for information, both internal and external, concerning supplier opportunities.
