Black Box KVM tray monitors use thin-film transistor (TFT) technology to improve image quality, resulting in higher resolutions, better image contrast, and addressability. These KVM trays support TFT LCD panel monitors.
Wide viewing angles.
The screens on the Black Box tray monitors are viewable from nearly any angle. The size of the screens, up to 19", enables viewing angles from 140° x 120° up to 160° x 160°. Users don’t have to be standing directly in front of the monitor in order to see what’s on it.
The right size.
KVM trays are 1U, so they fit in 19" racks and cabinets. The rear bracket for mounting is an adjustable length, ranging in depth from 23.7" (60.2 cm) to 45.3" (115 cm). This simplies ordering and mounting.
Dual-rail KVM tray mounting.
Dual-rail mounting enables the KVM tray to slide in and out of the rack in individual components. The keyboard/mouse drawer moves independently of the monitor drawer. Leave the monitor visible, even when a server cabinet door is closed and the K/M drawer is fully retracted. Black Box has moved switching controls to a front monitor bezel for even more control and space-saving options.
Remote management options.
KVM switching modules for Black Box KVM trays enable remote access via copper cables (CATx Integrated KVM Tray Modules). Manage servers over CATx or over the Internet. Get KVM-over-IP or KVM with extender remote access options and multiplatform support for up to four IP access sessions. Or ask about KVM trays with built-in IP access ports that integrate with ServSwitch EC KVM switches. The IP port is SNMP manageable and can be used with any Java enabled Web browser or VNC client.
