Search Tips...

Keyword Search
Our search engine uses any or all keywords typed in the text box to give you product search results.
For instance, typing in kvm will give you a broader set of results than kvm switch cables.

Note, however, that keywords in quotes are treated as a single phrase and will not be evaluated individually.

Booleans (AND, +, OR, NOT, -) are not supported.

Also, some keywords will not return results, and may automatically correct to a similar keyword.

  • Connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the computer and have a KVM console on the remote end. Use your computer at either location!

    • With the Black Box® ServSwitch™ Single DVI-D KVM Extender with 4 USB HID Ports, you can send your keyboard, mouse, and a DVI-D video signal up to 460 feet (140 m) over CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 cable.

    Just connect a keyboard, mouse, and DVI-D monitor directly to the computer on the transmitting end of the link and a KVM console with a DVI-D monitor on the receiving end. This method of dual access enables you to use your computer at either location.

    The USB HID ports are compatible with human interface devices (HIDs), including keyboards, mice, trackballs, GlidePoint® touchpads, Wacom® tablets, jog wheels, and some touch screens — anything that installs as an HID.

    NOTE: The USB HID ports don’t support small or mass storage devices, optical drives, or any device that requires a driver to be installed. For details, contact our FREE Tech Support.
