Keyword Search
Our search engine uses any or all keywords typed in the text box to give you product search results.
For instance, typing in kvm will give you a broader set of results than kvm switch cables.

Note, however, that keywords in quotes are treated as a single phrase and will not be evaluated individually.

Booleans (AND, +, OR, NOT, -) are not supported.

    No more switching user stations to access both your servers and serial devices! The ServSwitch Console Plus puts you in complete control. It’s a multiplatform, single-user CPU management switch that features built-in async serial support.

    With the Console Plus, you can streamline your data center or server room and provide a central management station for your system. And because the switch has an advanced distributed design, it eliminates single points of failure.

    CPU ports that double as serial ports.
    By simply configuring any of the switch’s CPU ports as serial ports, you can use the ServSwitch Console Plus to access Ethernet hubs, UNIX® devices, and other equipment with serial connections. In effect, the switch acts as a dumb terminal with an eight-page scroll buffer to enable easy monitoring of your serial equipment.

    The Console Plus’ interface is so powerful that it’s actually a color VT220™ terminal. When you connect to a serial device, you get a 24 x 80 full-screen display with two status lines. Linux® serial ports also display directory lists in color.

    Versatile, expandable, and compatible with the ServSwitch Remote.
    This multiplatform switch can handle PC, Sun®, Mac®, UNIX®, and Linux® machines simultaneously. Mix all platforms in a single installation and switch between them.

    Available in 4-, 8-, and 16-port models, the ServSwitch Console Plus is expandable for connections to as many as 1000 CPUs or servers. To daisychain multiple chassis and create a seamless KVM matrix switch, you simply connect the Console Plus units via an optional Expansion Module.

    And if you use the ServSwitch Console Plus with the ServSwitch Remote, Single-User, you can manage it remotely over an IP connection. Plus, because the ServSwitch Remote has multiplatform support, you can use your Console Plus to manage a server room mix of PC, Sun, and Mac servers from a remote location.

    Quick to set up, configure, and use.
    The Console Plus is easy to install. Connect your PC, Sun, Mac, UNIX, and Linux machines, and keyboard, monitors, and mice with the cables listed below.

    To configure the switch and its security features, simply access its intuitive on-screen pop-up menu system, which enables you to name your servers as you like. Settings are conveniently saved into flash memory.

    For maximum versatility, you can set up a Console Plus control station to connect in four modes: View, Share, Control, and Private. You can also configure the switch for multiple security levels by either autoassigning security settings to a single user station or requiring each user to log into the switch with a user ID and password.

    It’s easy to switch using the on-screen menu or simple keyboard commands.

    And there’s no need to worry about keyboard and mouse compatibility either. The Console Plus provides full keyboard and mouse emulation. In addition, it supports USB keyboards and mice. And it works with most major operating systems, including Windows®, Sun Solaris®, Linux, UNIX, SGI™, and Mac.

    To add new features or update the Console Plus’ firmware, flash upgrade via the switch’s RS-232 serial port.
