    • The Hardened VDSL Ethernet Extender with PoE+ is ideal for last-mile applications. It extends Ethernet up to 300 meters at speeds of up to 50 Mbps. Plus, this extender is an 802.3at PoE PSE, providing up to 30 watts of power to two PoE powered devices such as switches or wireless access points.

    This extender must be used in pairs. You can set the extender as a local or remote device with a DIP switch and use one on each end of the link, or use it together with our 1-Port Hardened VDSL Ethernet Extender with PoE+ (LBPS301A), the LinkGain Ethernet Extender over VDSL (LB300A-R3), or the 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Hardened Ethernet Extender over VDSL (LB303A).

    The extender is designed for use in sheltered outdoor environments, and features a hardened aluminum case. It supports a temperature range of -40 to +167° F (-40 to +75° C). Plus, it complies with IEC 61000-6-2 EMC Part 6-2: Generic standards—immunity for industrial environments.

    The extender features a built-in switch with four Ethernet ports. Two ports are standard autonegotiating 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX RJ-45 ports with Auto MDI/MDI-X. The other two ports also provide 802.3at PoE-compliant power to PoE-powered devices. The extender port is an RJ-11 or a terminal block port, supporting symmetrical VDSL. The extender can be DIN-rail mounted, panel mounted, or rackmounted.
