Clock watcher
If you’re in the financial business, you need to be a "clock watcher" to be compliant with regulations. Let the Auto-Sync Time Clock do it for you. It ensures your complete compliance with FINRA OATS Rule 7430, including to-the-second granularity and synchronization within three seconds of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) atomic clock. The clock syncs directly to the time source rather than to a computer.

This Web-based clock gives you automatic time synchronization for validated time. It also will run on its own using elaborate time synchronization schedules. You can set the clock to synchronize to an NIST or NTP time source up to 12 times a day, or every two hours.

Rules and regulations
The clock ensures full OATS compliance and offers the highest-quality OATS-compliant time stamp available. It is even in compliance with standalone units not linked to a PC. It also provides a complete solution without the need for individual trader computers.

Stamp of approval
The clock will make visible alarms on the time stamp imprint and LCD display, giving notification of a time synchronization failure. You can also configure the clock to send e-mail notifications to selected recipients for clock status or if the clock fails to synchronize. The clock also uses SNMP traps for event notification, enabling network administrators to centrally manage the clock and troubleshoot it. Integral diagnostics include LCD display, transaction reset, and manual time sync.

Even if the clock does not receive synchronization from an NTP time server, it still functions and maintains time. For administration, you can set up log-in security and passwords for two users.

Records
The clock can store five years of data based on a schedule of two syncs per day for OATS compliance. You can get status, transaction, and configuration reports from the clock. It also generates reports on time sync events for use during audits. Choose automatic and/or manual print activation, and you can add alphanumeric custom comments. The clock can print through up to six carbon copies. The time imprint format includes seconds as per requirements.

Easy setup and management
