Transformer isolation guards against ground loops, and the Industrial Line Driver is rated to withstand 2000-VRMS. Silicon Avalanche Diode surge protection guards against those dreaded data-line transients, better known as spikes. The line driver is immune to IEC-801-5 Level 2, 1-kV spikes, so it can take the juice and still keep your data moving on down the line.

Our Async/Sync Industrial Line Driver keeps on working in temperature extremes ranging from 14 to 158° F (-10 to 70° C). And it can take the humidity that comes with the dog days of August or the tropics.

Flexibility. It doesn’t matter if you have a 2-wire or 4-wire operation, this line driver handles both schemes. Operation is half-duplex for 2-wire operation and half- or full-duplex for 4-wire setups. The line driver also works point-to-point or multipoint in both the 2-wire and 4-wire applications.

For added versatility, the Industrial Line Driver transmits data in async or sync modes. Plus it features 13 selectable data rates from 1200 bps to 64 kbps. You can also transmit data up to a maximum distance of 12 miles (19.3 km).
