Changing the Time on Your Phone or Voice Mail System

Below please find instructions on how to change the time on your phone or voice mail system. Some phone and voice mail systems require a technician to make the changes, either remotely or onsite.


Please be advised that not all systems are included in this list. If your phone system or voice mail is not listed, and you need assistance changing the time on your system, please contact Voice Services.


NEC NEAX 2000

Steps can be performed from any phone


1. Do Not Lift Handset
2. Press Transfer
3. Press Conference
4. Press * (star)
5. Press Transfer
6. Press Conference
7. Press # (pound)
8. Press Redial
9. Enter 02
10. Press Recall
11. Enter 2
12. Press Recall
13. Enter HH, MM, SS
14. Press Conference
15. Lift and replace the hand set


NEC Electra Professional Level I, Level II, Level II Advanced, Electra Pro 120, Electra Elite 48, Electra Elite 192

Changing the time on a Electra Elite & Professional system must be done from the "main" or primary phone. It is usually extension # 100.


1. Press "FEATURE"
2. Dial "9#"
3. Enter hour and minute
4. Press "RECALL" to change AM/PM setting
5. Press "HOLD" to change the calendar setting
6. Press "RECALL" to change the day of week
7. Dial "#" to move the cursor to day of month field
8. Enter day of month
9. Press "RECALL" to select month
10. Dial "#"to move the cursor to year field
11. Enter last 2 digits of year
12. Press "FEATURE"


NEC IPK II


1. Press "SPEAKER"
2. Press "728"
3. Enter Military Time
4. Press "SPEAKER"


Toshiba Strata DK Telephone System

Changing the time on a Strata DK system must be done from the "main" or primary phone. It is usually extension # 10, or # 200.


To change time, at extension 10 or 200 Display telephone (Main receptionist)


1. Handset hung up
2. Press the intercom or DN button
3. Dial # 652
4. Enter new time in 24 military time HHMMSS ie: 08:00 am = 08 00 00
5. Press the redial button
6. Press the speaker button to end program


To change time, at extension 10 or 200 Display telephone (Main receptionist)


1. Handset hung-up
2. Dial # 651
3. Enter new date as YYMMDD ie: 04 01 01(Jan 1st 2004)
4. Press the redial button
5. Press the speaker button to end program


Toshiba CTX 100 or 672

To change time at any Display telephone


1. Press the hold button
2. Dial * # * # 1* 2 * 3 *
3. Enter password 0000 (Default)
4. Press the hold button
5. Dial 902
6. Press the hold button
7. Press the 2nd button from the bottom on the vertical line buttons(left side if a 20 button telephone)
8. Enter new time in military time HHMMSS ie: 08:00am = 08 00 00
9. Press the hold button
10. Press the hold button again
11. Left handset and hang-up to end program


To change the date at any Display telephone


1. Press the hold button
2. Dial * # * # 1 * 2 * 3 *
3. Enter password 0000 (Default)
4. Press hold button
5. Dial 902
6. Press hold button
7. Press bottom button on vertical line buttons (Bottom left if 20 button telephone)
8. Enter date as YYMMDD i.e.: 04 01 01 (Jan 1st 2004)
9. Press the hold button
10. Press hold button again
11. Lift handset and hang up to end program


Toshiba STRATAGY PC based voice mail

The time and date can only be changed from the monitor and keyboard attached to the voice mail computer


1. To change press space bar to clear screen saver
2. Press and hold the alt key while pressing the "D" key
3. Enter the security code, Consult your vendor or call us to assist in this issue
4. Enter new date and press enter
5. Enter new time in 24 hour military time HHMMSS ie 08:00:00 = 0800 am
6. Press enter to return to main screen


Toshiba STRATAGY DK or STRATAGY IVP8 2,4,6 or 8 port "INSKIN" card


1. Call your main voice mail extension (default = 850)
2. When voice mail answers press the * key and enter mailbox 999. Enter your security code.
3. Press 8 to enter administrator mode
4. Press the * key to listen to current date and time
5. Dial 6 to change date and time and follow prompts
6. Dial 9 to exit administration mode
7. Hang up to end program.


Toshiba Perception

Time change must be performed at the Attendant Console


To Display Time:


1. Press the DIS TOD key a second time
2. The time is then displayed:


SRC    COS      DEST

Hours  Minutes  Seconds


To Set Time:


1. Enter the 6-digit time (via the dial pad) in the following format:
2. HHMMSS (Example: For 9:30 AM enter 093000 / For 9:30 PM enter 213000)


To Start the Clock and Clear the Display:


1. Press the DIS TOD key a third time to clear the display
2. Note: The display automatically clears if an LPK key is pressed


Inter-Tel Axxess - Networked Systems Only

From the attendant telephone


1. While on hook, enter the Set Network Date and Time feature code (9810). Your displays the current date.
2. If you do not need to change the date, press "#" or ACCEPT to skip to the time prompt.
3. Use the dialpads to enter month day and year mm-dd-yy format.
4. If you make a mistake, press "MUTE" to backspace or "*" to start over.
5. Use the dialpad buttons to enter the time in hours and minutes "0900" for 9:00.
6. If 12-hour display is used, the display shows AM or PM. Press "1" for AM and "2" for PM.


Inter-Tel Axxess - Non-Networked Systems

From the attendant telephone


1. While on-hook, enter "9800" for Set Date/Time feature. The current date will display.
2. Press "#" to skip. To change, use keypad to enter the month, day and year (010305=January 3, 2005). The new date will display.
3. Use keypad keys to enter the time in hours and minutes (0900=9:00).
4. If the system is set for 12-hour format, the display will show SELECT AM OR PM (AM=1 PM=2). Select 1 or 2.
5. The display reads, "SYSTEM DATE AND TIME UPDATED".
