Black Box Corporation Announces Acquisition of Nortech Telecommunications, Inc.
Nortech Telecommunications, Inc. (NTI) represents approximately $8 million in annual historical revenues
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, October 31, 2006 -- Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX - News) today announced the acquisition of Nortech Telecommunications, Inc. (NTI), a privately-held company based out of Chicago, IL. NTI has an active customer base which includes commercial, education and various government agency accounts. Annual historical revenues of NTI are approximately $8 million.
Larry Denison and Norman Kwak, former NTI owners, comment, "We are excited about becoming a part of the Black Box family. Mr. Denison and Mr. Kwak will report to Rick Gannon, Black Box Regional General Manager.

This transaction is being accounted for as a purchase. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
