Black Box Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

The upgrade to the new standard is part of the Company’s ongoing commitment to quality.

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, November 20, 2009 — Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX), a leading provider of voice services, data infrastructure, and product solutions, today announced it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its U.S. operations. This achievement marks the Company’s fifteenth consecutive year of ISO certification.

ISO 9001:2008 is globally regarded as the most comprehensive body of standards on quality management systems and practices. It was established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an organization of national standards institutes of 162 countries and the foremost authority on quality standards. Gorga, director of operations for Black Box. “For us, quality isn’t just a buzzword; it is the driving principle of everything we do.”
