Black Box Corporation Acquires AT&T's Southeast Region NEC CPE Base
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, March 17, 2008 -- Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX - News) today announced that it has acquired AT&T Inc.’s (NYSE:ATT) NEC TDM voice CPE business line in AT&T’s southeast region.
Commenting on the acquisition, Dwayne Diesu, Black Box Network Services Vice President and General Manager, stated, "This acquisition further enhances our presence as the premier provider of NEC voice and data services in North America."
This transaction is being accounted for as a purchase. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
