Black Box Corporation Announces Acquisition of ADS Telecom, Inc.
ADS Telecom, Inc. (ADS) represents approximately $14 million in historical voice services annual revenue
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, February 2, 2007 -- Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX - News) today announced the acquisition of ADS Telecom, Inc. (ADS), a privately-held company based out of Orlando, FL. ADS has an active customer base which includes commercial, financial, healthcare and various government agency accounts. Annual historical revenues of ADS are approximately $14 million.
Gary Abram, Jim D’Ambrosio and Barry Simons, former ADS owners, comment, "In addition to the industry’s best hotline products, we are excited about the wider array of voice, data and onsite services Black Box enables us to offer our customers. Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Diesu stated, "ADS is a leading provider of voice and data services in the Southeast. They will provide a solid base in this market to expand our industry-leading voice, data and hotline products and on-site services."
This transaction is being accounted for as a purchase. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
